Backstreet Boys have been around for 20 years. They first joined in 1993. They didn't get their start in America to believe it or not but they went to Germany to get their start. The guys made their first album in 1995 in Germany. They started out by singing in high schools and they started by singing Acapella because people didn't know if they could sing. After people heard that Backstreet Boys sounded good in Germany, America was begging Backstreet Boys to come back. Their biggest single is I Want it That A Way. Their biggest album is Millennium which sold over 1 million records the first week it came out. For the sales of their record Millennium it was in the genus book of world records. All of their albums to date has made it to the top 10 billboard 200 charts. Even though their recent albums(without Kevin Richardson) wasn't that popular in America, Japan still loved them more  than ever. Both Unbreakable and This is Us went platinum in Japan. They are making records and will not stop making music. In 2005 their record Never Gone went platinum in America and around the world. A day before the record was to be released it VH1 aired the Behind the music of Backstreet Boys. These guys have done it all and have seen it all and there is nothing that will stop them from making music.

American Idol

On April 11, 2013 Lazaro Arbos was eliminated from American Idol. I am so sad to see him leave the show. I really want to know why the judges didn't save him. I have liked him from the beginning ever since he first sung Bridge Over Trouble Waters on January 17, 2013. Since March I have been voting for this guy. When he sung Feeling Good for the second time since Vegas around, I thought the judges were going to save him. They didn't even give it a second thought. It broke my heart when he was not saved. I never wanted a woman to win idol. He was the best and will for ever be known as the last man standing. I will miss him but I hope that someone signs him so I can buy his music. Here is what I think of the show now that Lazaro is not on it anymore, the show is nothing without him. The judges and everyone was way too hard on him. There were lots of people picking on him and it made me sick. He doesn't need to be picked on. At least everyone knows that he was the best of the boys.

Here is an interview Lazaro did with The Hollywood Reporter:

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/idol-worship/american-idol-last-words-lazaro-438728

Here is an interview with USA Today:

Q: What are your future plans?
A: I love love songs a lot but at the same time I like pop. I want to do a commercial pop album with some love songs as well.
Q: What was your favorite moment from the show?
A: I would say that I got to meet a lot of amazing people that I'll have life long bonds with. I think that this show definitely gave me a stronger mindset.
Q: You seem to have much more confidence, what was it that you were too afraid to try before that you are most looking forward to try when you get home?
A: I think that this show, like I said before, kind of forced me to lose my nerves and kind of step up no matter what. I don't have a specific thing that I would like to do but if I had to say I would say I would love to act.
Q: I heard you want to act on Glee, is that true?
Yes that is one of my goals after the tour.
Q: If you couldn't act on Glee what other show would you act on?
Modern Family because I love that show.
Q: How does it feel to make it so far after overcoming so much?
A: A lot of people have been asking me if I'm sad and I am so far from sad. I am so well. I have so much going on that I am most definitely looking forward to what comes next and I feel great.

Here is an interview that Lazaro did with Billboard.com

How are you feeling?
I am excited to go home and sleep, darling. Yes, that is my main goal now!

Has it been that taxing on you?
No, it has not, but I think that we've been in such a box for so long that it's kind of cool to go off -- like, ‘Bye guys, I'll talk to you soon!' So it's not that saddening. [Laughs]

Did you have a feeling at all that it might happen?
I don't know. My thing was I know my first song wasn't the best song, but I think I came back with my last song, but that wasn't enough. So I wasn't shocked.

When they separated you into the groups did you have a feeling which group you were in?
When they separated us, I felt that I was going home because – I have a best friend and she's Amber, so I love her – but she hasn't been getting the most votes, so I kind of thought I was going home. But I said if they saved me and not her I was going to get so mad!

Nicki came on stage to say goodbye to you, which we thought was very nice of her and she posed for a pic with you.
Well, you know, I love her, she loves me. Regardless of what she says on camera, I love her and she knows that and we talk after.

American Idol

Lazaro Arbos is 22 years old and he is in the top 7 on American Idol. He is brave for not letting people stand in the way while he stutters. He has been Stuttering since he was six years old. He doesn't let anything stand in his way. Last night Lazaro was in the bottom three and I never thought he was going to be there in the bottom. I know that he will be around for a very long time. The first time I saw him is when I fell in love with his voice and him. He amazes me and I love everything he does.

This story comes from naplesnews.com:

Collier County’s Lazaro Arbos is one of only two male contestants left on “American Idol.” Thursday’s elimination round — which coincided with the “Idol” 450th episode celebration — seemed to be extra tense for the Gulf Coast High School graduate. Arbos, 21, a Cuban-born crooner, was the last person host Ryan Seacrest said was “safe.”All the female contestants made it to the next round early on, leaving Arbos and the other two remaining male contestants in the vulnerable bottom three.

Here is what Lazaro said:

“One thing that I’ve learned: When you come into show business, not everyone is going to love you. Not everyone is going to love every song that you sing. But you can’t let that get to you,”

This one comes from Hollywoodlife.com:

Lazaro was talking about how he forgot his lyrics and how he will never cry on  national TV again.

Tensions are rising on American Idol as more contestants continue to get eliminated, and Lazaro Arbos is doing his best to withstand the heat. The contestant completely forgot his lyrics during a group performance on March 27, and was slammed by Nicki Minaj as well as fellow contestants Burnell Taylor and Devin Velez. After crying on stage the previous week, Lazaro is now saying that he will never cry again on national television, regardless of what happens in the future.

Here is what Lazaro said:

“I’ve gotten to the point where I worry about the people that love me no matter what, so if that’s how she felt – so what. I love her regardless and she knows that.”

Here is Lazaro performing For Once in My Life

My opinion of this is that he did an amazing job and I saw sparkles in his eyes. I loved how he was moving around. He was better than last week. He won't be going home and time soon. He was just in the bottom three once. If you look at last year Hollie Cavanagh was in the bottom three more than once and she was saved because people liked her. I will always vote for him. I am a #lazis forever!

American Idol: Lazaro Arbos edition

This week Lazaro sung In My Life. People are really hard on him but I do not know why. They don't need to be hard on him. He is having a hard time but he is doing so great. He has never been at the bottom even though some people think that he should be in the bottom. One thing that he has that no one has is the courage. Lazaro is the only one who stutters. Being a person that stutters it can be hard for him because people might think badly about him. Here is what I think about him. I think that he is an amazing singer. When I first heard him sing Bridge Trouble Over Waters in his audition, my reaction was like WOW! I said wow he's amazing! I still think that he is amazing. When he sung Angels it was just amazing and he was hitting all of his high notes, that I love. Through the years of watching idol and listening to music, Lazaro is the first singer to make me cry so much when I hear him sing. He has a sweet tone that is like no one else. No matter what people say about him, he will not listen and do his own thing. His best performance has to be Feeling Good. Its his best because he had swag and soul plus he also had he put his own spin on it. He also had some attitude in it. When he sings amazingly like Feeling Good the audience just screams louder so the judges can't even talk. I love it when that happens.

Here is what the dailymail.uk.com said about Wednesday Night:

He sobbed his eyes out after giving ‘the worst performance of the night’ on Wednesday's American Idol. And chronic-stutterer Lazaro Arbos's tears obviously pulled on the nation's heartstrings - winning him a reprieve on Thursday night's results show.

Just to make note of it Lazaro was the first one to be saved. Now next week he will show everyone that he has what it takes to be the next American Idol. Lazaro is getting votes because people like him no matter what Jimmy and the judges say. My bet is that he will be the last man standing!

Here is Lazaro's reaction to his performance on Wednesday:

Here is the recap of last night:

Lazaro Arbos is not going anywhere any time soon so people need to be nice to him. He is the best out of the guys!

SIDE NOTE: DID ANYONE EVER NOTICE THAT JIMMY HAS A BIG HEAD!

Here and There #4

There is so  much news that is out there. Backstreet Boys will have there 20th anniversary and it will be a great one. They will also be releasing a new album this year and then they will also get their name on the Hollywood walk of fame. Backstreet Boys aren't slowing down. There is also news about Backstreet Boys in production for a documentary.

Here is what Ew.com said about it:

“This is an incredible opportunity to make a film no one would expect The Backstreet Boys to make. What drew me to this project is their openness and willingness to push themselves into uncomfortable places, to be vulnerable and honest and to be really trusting of the filmmaking team to steer them in the right direction. This isn’t some 3-D Boy Band puff piece – BSB is getting real and it has been exciting to work with them as they explore their past and start to look towards their futures. They’re grown men in a boy-band. They are wrestling with the big questions in their lives and their careers. And they are just really fascinating guys,” Kijak said in a press release.

This comes from Rollingstones.com:

Kijak, who hopes to complete the documentary by this fall, said members of the band have been enthusiastic about the project. "What drew me to this project is their openness and willingness to push themselves into uncomfortable places, to be vulnerable and honest and to be really trusting of the filmmaking team to steer them in the right direction," he said, promising the project won't just be a "3D boy-band puff piece."

Kelly Clarkson won for Best Pop Vocal album at the Grammys. She was also being funny in her acceptance speech. Later in the show she performed. Here is part of what she said:

This comes from MTV.com

"I didn't know I was going to win 'cause I literally, I was so excited to be in a category with Fun. I have been covering you all summer. I'm sorry, I love that song. I think it's so awesome. I love Pink. Everyone — Adele — that I was in a category with. Miguel, I don't know who the hell you are, but we need to sing together. I mean, good god, that was the sexiest damn thing I've ever seen. What? Anyway, thank you so much, friends, family, label, my manager, Narvel [Blackstock, Brandon's father and Kelly's manager], my fiancé, who is sexy tonight. I did not think I was going to win. Thank you!"

Tv World #2 American Idol

This week on American Idol was a wild ride. Some people made it through and a lot of people went home. My favorites are saved at least for now. One of my favorites went home and that is Nate Tao. He was and is a great singer. I am sad to see him go home but I hope that he can come back. Two of my favorites that are safe are Johnny Keyser and Lazaro Arbos. Next week we get to know which twenty guys make it through and which eight get to go home. This year they are going to the top 40 very quick. Will Lazaro and Johnny make it through and be in the top 40??? I sure hope so.

This week Lazaro sung Angels and I thought he did such and amazing job. He is a shinning star. Here is an article about this amazing Lazaro Arbos:

This comes from the Examiner.com
Lazaro Arbos overcame a struggle during the first two rounds of Hollywood week on "American Idol" Wednesday.
Working through nervous energy and difficulty with stuttering, Arbos overcame the first round with a strong performance of "Angels" by Robbie Williams.
"It is extraordinary how when you start singing, it's so clear and full and beautiful," said an impressed Keith Urban. "You just simply must go on. You're going through."
In a new twist, Arbos was then asked to join a group with Josh Stephens, Scott Fleenor, and Christian Lopez, instead of selecting his own group.

Here is Lazaro Singing Angels:

Here is Lazaro singing in the group arounds:

Now on to Johnny Keyser. Johnny Keyser made it through to the Vegas round last year but this year he is sticking through hoping to make it to the top 40. Johnny was hardly shown on tv so far. His performance wasn't shown but he sung for group around and forgot the words to the song.

The person we get to say goodbye to is Nate Tao. He is an American sign language interpreter. His parents are both deaf.

This comes from reston.patch.com

The end of the line on Fox's American Idol came Thursday night for Reston's Nate Tao.
Tao, whose solo week performance was not shown on Thursday's show, was not chosen by judges to advance closer to the Top 20 that will sing live on the show.
They did air Tao's reaction, though.
"It's not the end of the world, but it sucks," Tao said on the broadcast.
Reston Patch spoke with Tao earlier on Thursday. Here's more info on him and his happy memories of performing at Herndon High School:
Reston's Nate Tao has heard from dozens of old Northern Virginia friends the last week - ever since he made it to Hollywood Week on American Idol
Idol-watchers will learn Thursday night whether Tao, a 2006 graduate of Herndon High, will advance to the Top 20 and a spot on the live portion of the show.
Even if the road ends for Tao, 24, in Hollywood Week, Tao (who of course can't talk about upcoming results) says it has been an amazing time.

Tv World #1 Switched At Birth

TV World is a new thing that will feature TV shows. I will talk about all of the shows that are out there. I am happy to announce that this is the first TV World and the feature story is Switched At Birth.

Last night episode of Switched At Birth "The Acquired Inability to Escape"

The Episode was about Bay and her school not having enough money to have a drama club so it was going to close except Katherine volunteer to be the new director for the school's play. At first Bay doesn't like having her around but then once Bay learns that she hurt her mom's feelings she changes her mind about her being at school. Daphne gets robbed and knocked down while being in the part with her food truck. She got robbed because two kids thought it was fun to fool the deaf kids.

If you want to know more about the episode from last night click on this link: http://entertainment.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981846346

Here are some articles about SAB:

This from Buddy TV

ABC Family's hit show, Switched at Birth continues on Monday, February 11, with an episode called "Human/Need/Desire." During a set visit last month as part of TCA 2013, BuddyTV caught up with Gilles Marini and Constance Marie, who play Angelo and Regina on the show, as they talked about learning sign language and the possibility of more passion between their characters.

The impact of the show on the sign language community
Asked about what affects they've personally observed in regards to the show's impact on the sign language community, Marie said, "Through the success of the show, a lot of students have told me that they have petitioned their high schools to have ASL as a second language. A lot of people have decided to become interpreters and take it in school and that's just because of a show. That's amazing to me."
Marini added, "It's been quite a bit of a revelation for me. [While] walking on the streets and I have had so many people from so many different countries [come up to me], because there is no show really around the world where the deaf community is a part of it. Once two girls from Spain came up to me and they said 'thank you' (signs the phrase), and I know [the sign for] 'thank you.' They were actually bi-lingual because the sign in Spanish isn't the same. So it was incredible to see that. They were like 'you don't understand what you do for us.' "

Here is the preview for an all new Switched at Birth next week:

American Idol

This year is still great idol. I thought that last year was better. I do not like the judges. I am only watching idol for the contestants. There were two contestants the stood out for me already. One is season's 11 Johnny Keyser who has released an EP since last year and who has landed on the billboard charts before the season 11 was even over.
Next was this guy named Lazaro Arbos who started to stutter when he was 6 years old. He is now 21 years old. It is amazing when he sings because he doesn't stutter and he has a tenor voice. Everyone will be rooting for him. Usually I never pick the winners this early in the competition but I already have my winners. Plus the auditions aren't even over lol. I think that Johnny Keyser and Lazaro Arbos should make it to the finally and I know that is way too soon to tell but I believe in them so much.

Here is videos from Johnny Keyser:

Here is videos from Lazaro Arbos:
